On Sunday afternoon, February 5 at 7:30 pm, with the generous hospitality of the Holy Diocese of Kessariani Viron and Imitos, we celebrated the ceremony of the cutting of "St. Basil's Pie" of the B.OY.A. for the year 2012. The ceremony was blessed by His Eminence Daniel,Metropolitan of Kessariani,  Viron and Imitos.(1st photo on the left)  It took place in the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Kaisariani -a suburb of Athens- in the room below the Church.

From 5-th till 11-th of September 2011 the holy Diocese of Varna and Veliki Preslav (Bulgaria) has organized successfully the Week of the Orthodox Book under the motto “The revival of a person’s spiritual life” for 13-th year. The event has become part of Varna’s cultural life – international forum of Orthodox spiritual life and culture. Until now in this already traditional for Varna event have participated many clerics and theologians from Greece, Russia, Serbia, Monte Negro, Romania, Ukraine and Bulgaria. During it are organised Theological Conferences, Seminars and Round tables concerning current topics of the church life. B.O.Y.A. has been co-organizer of the event with financial and organizational assistance for twelve consecutive years.

The participants outside Rozhen Holy MonasteryThe 5th General Assembly was successfully completed in the Holy Monastery of St George in Hadjidimovo, Bulgaria, under the auspices and with the kind hospitality of His Eminence Metropolitan of Nevrokop Nathanail. There were more than 50 participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Serbia. A representative of the Orthodox young people of Constantinople was also present, delivered a message and transmitted the blessing and greetings of His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos. The theme of the Assembly was "The spiritual dimensions of the moral and financial crisis".

The Assembly began on August 18, Thursday afternoon, with an input of Metropolitan Nathanail. A message was delivered on behalf of the Youth Foundation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens.
